Hi there! I’m Becky Hampson.

From the first time I could hold a crayon, I've described myself as a maker and creator. Over the past thirty years, I've developed and refined my artistic abilities, adding the titles of designer and, more recently, illustrator as my capabilities grew.

I do most of my work in my small northwestern Pennsylvania hometown with my husband, two children, and True, our Jack Russell Terrier. I am often inspired by the nature that surrounds me, the collection of vintage materials I have around my home, and the colors they hold. You can see these aspects in my work, such as in A Natural Curiosity, where I place songbirds alongside objects from my home and the hobbies I enjoy.  

But, perhaps my greatest accomplishment is working with Enesco Ltd. to bring my illustration, Santa's Wild Ride, to life. In the winter of 2022, Enesco Ltd. held an open call for artists to create their version of Santa, known as the "Santa Challenge." My illustration was one of the eight selected entries that Enesco Ltd. would turn into a figurine and feature in their shop.

Upon its completion, Santa's Wild Ride debuted in the Enesco Ltd. booth at the Atlanta Market in January 2024 before becoming available for sale on Enesco Ltd.'s websites. I'm honored to have Santa's Wild Ride selected and able to work with Enesco Ltd. on this project.
